MNGLCA is Searching for Event Coordinator Position

Are you passionate about agriculture, conservation, and rural community engagement? Do you thrive on organizing memorable events and hitting the road for hands-on work? If so, the Minnesota Grazing Lands Conservation Association (MNGLCA) has the perfect opportunity for you!

MNGLCA is hiring a Seasonal Event Coordinator to lead the charge in planning and executing a full lineup of summer events across Minnesota. This remote, contract-based position offers a competitive pay rate of $30–$36 per hour, depending on experience, and includes in-state travel to farms and event sites.

As the Event Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in making our events a success—from handling logistics and vendor coordination to managing marketing efforts and capturing field-based content. You'll also help produce 5–10 engaging “Tools of the Trade” videos by visiting farms, filming, editing, and sharing these educational stories. If you enjoy variety in your work and want to make a direct impact in the ag and conservation space, this role is for you.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in event planning or project management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable traveling and working independently in a field-based environment
  • Bonus points for video editing skills and a background in ag or conservation!

You'll need a personal vehicle capable of towing a 16-foot enclosed trailer—but we'll provide the trailer and the adventures!

Sound like a fit? This is your chance to support Minnesota’s grazing lands while building your resume and connecting with dedicated farmers, ranchers, and conservationists across the state.

Apply today and spend your summer making a difference in the fields of Minnesota!
