MNGLCA Seeking Executive Director

The Minnesota Grazing Lands Conservation Association is excited to announce the opening of our Executive Director position.


As a producer-led nonprofit organization, MNGLCA works to support grazing education, conservation, and agricultural sustainability across Minnesota through field days, grazing schools, educational programs, partnerships, and producer-to-producer learning opportunities. As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking a leader who is passionate about agriculture, relationship-building, and organizational development.


The Executive Director will provide leadership for organizational operations, fundraising efforts, partnership development, communications, and statewide outreach. This individual will work closely with the Board of Directors, contractors, sponsors, partners, and producers to advance MNGLCA's mission and support grazing communities throughout Minnesota.


Position Information

  • $70/hour
  • Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Remote position based in Minnesota
  • Regular statewide travel required
  • One-year contract with renewal opportunities


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead organizational operations and strategic initiatives
  • Build relationships with producers, agencies, sponsors, and partners
  • Serve as the public face of MNGLCA across Minnesota
  • Support fundraising, sponsorship development, and grant opportunities
  • Guide communications, membership growth, and outreach efforts
  • Support financial planning, program oversight, and team coordination
