Virtual Fencing & Cover Crop Grazing field day

Come see how one farm is using virtual fencing to expand its grazing operation onto cropland. This field day will walk through what they've learned — from planning and establishment to grazing management — and how virtual fencing fits into the system.

Attendees will see Nofence collars in action and learn how this technology can open new opportunities for grazing cover crops, extend the grazing season, and improve soil health.

This event is ideal for livestock producers, crop farmers, and anyone curious about integrating livestock and cover crops using innovative tools.

Benjamin farms 144 acres in Sibley County, MN, where he focuses on adaptive grazing and building healthy, productive soils. He prefers working with cows over machinery and enjoys experimenting with innovative practices, including virtual fencing to improve his grazing rotations. Benjamin also dreams of someday mob grazing a small acreage in New Mexico to turn desert back into pasture. When he's not on the farm, Benjamin leads wilderness trips into the Boundary Waters, including winter camping adventures each February for the past decade. He brings the same curiosity, care, and love of the land to both his farm and his outdoor pursuits.
